MARITIME SOUTHERN AFRICA is published every second month (six times a year) and covers all sectors of the maritime industry in southern Africa. Special features in each issue aim to explore current trends and news in a particular sector in depth.

Founded in 2002, the magazine is currently celebrating its seventh anniversary of reporting on the maritime industries and looks forward to continuing to bring news that is current, relevant and useful to its readers.

Regular columnist Monde Mayekiso of MCM and our legal column ensure that the magazine remains up to date with what is going on in the fishing sector. Fisheries editor, Claire Attwood is well respected for her ability to get to the crux of issues affecting this sector.

Regular contributor, Steve Saunders, has a background in the merchant navy and is passionate about all things maritime. He reports regularly on the navy, the ship repair industry and more recently has expressed a real interest in the offshore oil and gas industries.

Editor, Colleen Jacka, has been reporting on the maritime industries since 1995 and keeps in touch with what is going on in all sectors of the industry, ensuring that contributors and columnists continue to write editorial that is useful to the readers.
